We were overwhelmed with the support of the community and the results of the book sale. In point of fact we sold absolutely no books; instead, we suggested people make donations toward the cause and help themselves to the books. Jane Hutt AM also dropped by and lent her support. We are happy to report that the total donations received were in the neighbourhood of £1000! We are off to a good start and are looking forward to our next fundraising event. We will have a booth at the Lion's Summer Fair and are keen to participate in this annual community event. We hope to see many of you there!
