Croeso Llantwit- What Next?

Hello Everyone.

I just wanted to be in touch and assure you that we are still committed to bringing a refugee family to Llantwit, and are now re-doubling our efforts to find suitable accommodation. The rental market has changed considerably in the past year meaning far fewer properties, and especially ones in our category, are being put up for rent. That said, we are keeping a close eye on the situation whilst continuing to apply for capital grant funding and pursue any and all other opportunities that come our way. I sincerely hope that the next time you receive an email from me it will be to tell you we have a house!

We are continuing to make new contacts and broaden our skills set; and are looking at how we can make the next part of our journey meaningful and engaging. I am sure we will all have different stories to tell of the past 15 months, some far easier than others; but let's hope that in the coming year we will become less isolated and more able to get together and enjoy the benefits of living in this amazing community - and, at last, be able to welcome a family into our midst.
